Annie Yan
Head Chair
Annie is a second-year BSc International Relations student at the LSE. Born in Ireland, Annie has lived in China, Singapore, and Germany before moving to London for university. She has held a variety of roles within MUN since high school, including delegating, chairing, and organising a MUN conference. At university, she has served in the Secretariat of LSEMUN 2023, and chaired in the WHO committee at LSE YouthMUN 2023. This year, Annie is eager to chair alongside Carli and Lakshya in UN Women, and is looking forward to the engaging debates. In her free time Annie enjoys hanging out with friends, reading, and exploring London.
Carlotta Queirazza
Vice Chair
Carlotta is a first year undergraduate student at the LSE reading Politics and Philosophy. She is from Italy, but has just moved to London for university. Carlotta has been a Model UN aficionada since her first year of highschool when she participated in her first international conference. Unfortunately, Covid stopped her from attending others outside of Italy, but she still took part in some conferences organised in her city and other similar simulation projects. She has now started entering the MUN UK circuit and is thrilled to further explore it. Outside of her studies and Model UN, she is passionate about theatre (expect dramatics) and cooking (in typical Italian fashion). Her passion for politics was first ignited by women’s rights issues in her country and she looks forward to handling your debate on the given topics and seeing how it develops!
